Jorja Smith is a British singer-songwriter. Hailing from Walsall, West Midlands, England, Jorja first gained attention in the music industry in 2016 with her maiden single “Blue Lights”.

The single was so successful it charted with the Top 40 of the UK Singles Chart. It also charted in Scotland, France and Belgium.

This was followed by her debut EP, “Project 11”, later in the same year. In 2017, Smith was featured on two tracks from Drake’s mixtape “More Life”.

She subsequently released debut studio album, “Lost & Found”, in 2018. This album enjoyed critical success. It was even nominated for the Mercury Prize that year. As if that wasn’t enough, it went on to win a Brit Critics’ Choice Award.
