“No More Parties” by Coi Leray

The concept the title of this song (“No More Parties”) points to is Coi Leray taking a no-nonsense approach to life. And in putting forth such a disposition, she mentions a myriad of interpersonal connections she has which ultimately serve as distractions. This includes those with some of her family members, romantic interests and female rivals. She also alludes to a strained relationship with her dad, who happens to be hip-hop musician / television personality Benzino. And overall what Coi is saying is that she is more interested in becoming financially successful than getting mixed up in the BS.

Coi Leray and Benzino

Coi Leray is apparently the first born of Benzino’s children, with her date of birth being 11 May 1997. Although her mom and dad didn’t marry, Benzino apparently had an active role in her upbringing. In fact she used to attend the studio with him, and she seemingly was inspired to become a musician by following in his footsteps. But other than that, there doesn’t seem to be much definitive information available on their relationship. However, as revealed in “No More Parties”, Coi does feels that her “daddy let (her) down”.
