“Show Them The Way” by Stevie Nicks

Stevie Nicks recalls the dream was about finding herself in a grey house where she had performed in before. In the dream, she was getting ready to perform some songs for the Kennedy’s, the family of the late president and other dignitaries. She goes on to express how she was not certain of the time in the dream since all these now-dead people were alive in her dream, and she didn’t feel either old or young. The singer further stated how Martin Luther King walked her down the hall and how she was asked to sing and play the piano to a room filled with hope.

The words she sang in the dream was a plea for God to show these leaders the way. As the song progresses, the writer observes that in the dream it seemed like all these past great leaders knew her and were still discussing and planning the welfare of their people. The song ends with a voice which tells her not to forget the dreams of these people nor the peaceful cause for which they were fighting for.
