The chorus of the song highlights how he desperately needs to make some wishes while a shooting star passes. In its absence however, he prefers to make his wish by pretending that an airplane is a shooting star.

Apparently, the artist, having gained all the fame and success he once craved for, realizes that he misses the times when his life was simple. He wishes he could go back to the time when he rapped solely based on passion rather than for the politics it has now become.
