“All of Me” by John Legend
Anyone who ever actually heard this tune can instantly attest to the fact that it is a love song, even if they don’t know the actual words. This is simply due to John Legend’s effectively-emotive rendering. Indeed besides the singer being a genuine vocal talent, this song truly came from his heart. More specifically it is dedicated to Chrissy Teigen, whom some readers would recognize as the lady John Legend married in 2013, the same year this track was released. In fact scenes from their wedding, which took place in a scenic part of Italy known as Lake Como, are actually featured on the music video to “All of Me”.

Yes, he recognizes that she has some “imperfections”. But he is so smitten that even what can be interpreted as her shortcomings or bad times still has him enamored.
So again, “All of Me” is the type of track in which what you hear is what you get. And what is heard is a talented singer pouring his heart out in relation to the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with.
