“Always Forever” by Bryson Tiller

Bryson Tiller’s song, “Always Forever”, describes a clear case of unrequited love. His intro tries to depict the time period of the relationship to his listeners.

In the first stanza of the song he narrates all his efforts to stop himself from feeling the way he feels for his partner. According to Bryson his emotions made him feel like he was losing his mind. He continues by saying his partner just treats him like one of her friends and not like her partner. In the last 2 lines he shows a desperate effort for her love. In the chorus that ensues, he calls on the girl to end the relationship if she is only staying for his sake.

In the next verse he presents a downhearted tone trying to find out how things ended up the way it did. His final verse is a more of a reflective one; reminiscing about how things started in the relationship.
