“Charlie Sheen” by Denzel Curry (ft. Ghostemane)

The title of this song is based on Denzel Curry labeling an opp “Charlie Sheen”, since said rival is only “half a man”. This metaphor is apparently based on the titular actor once having a role in a popular television show called “Two and a Half Men”. But overall it is an insult, pointing to the idea of the rapper’s enemy being less of a man than he is. And whereas he uses a singular pronoun to get this point across, he is speaking to all of his opponents in general.

Or another way of phrasing it is that he’s challenging them to actually step to him. Thus the main theme of this track is he and Ghostemane bragging about how wild and even murderous they are. And accordingly most of its lyrics are dedicated to the pair touting themselves as ‘killers’. So in a way you can say it is the average type of rap song coming out of Florida these days, one in which the artists depict themselves as being violent and mentally-deranged.
