This concept is made more apparent in the part of the song which may be referred to as the bridge, where the singer refers to rain coming down “like tears”. This would not only imply that he is dealing with some sort of depression but also that it is a significant or constant one. However, despite this he knows he still has to “keep on”. Simply put, he is going to continue to push forward. And what is he really pushing forward towards? He’s pushing forward specifically towards what makes him feel edified.
