“Like A Clown” by Milky Chance

This song starts off with the singer admitting that he “feel(s) like a clown”, which is a pretty interesting statement. But as the lyrics progress, it is quickly established that Clemens is making this confession to his sweetheart.  And what he means by being her “clown” is that, as with such professionals, his desire is to make the addressee “laugh” and to ‘never drag her down’. 

Or put otherwise, Rehbein is totally committed to his honeybun’s happiness – with him by her side of course. And the lyrics do go about firmly establishing that the featured relationship is romantic, one in which the singer is celebrating how his dearest ‘does him good’ and is looking forward to the two of them ‘getting high’ together.

“Living in a Haze” is a 12-tracked album by German band, Milky Chance. The said album happens to be the band’s 4th studio album and was officially released on June 9 of 2023.

Muggelig Records, a Germany based record label, was responsible for its official release.

Three out of the 12 tracks namely, “Living in a Haze” “Golden” and “Purple Tiger” were released as singles to help promote “Living in a Haze.”
