“Low Key” by Ally Brooke (Ft. Tyga)

“Low Key” is a song based on a romantic relationship. In it, singer Ally Brooke and rapper Tyga basically play the roles of two lovers. According to the track, this romance has three distinct characteristics. First is Ally Brooke’s desire to keep it underground, as in not to publicize it too much. To put it differently, she prefers that their acquaintanceship be low-key. Second is her desire for her partner to “really get to know” her on a deep, personal level. Third is Tyga’s willingness and ability to spend a whole lot of money in order to make her happy.

Lyrics of "Low Key"

Ally’s disposition throughout the track is that while she may be appealing to Tyga physically, she also possesses many internal qualities which cannot be ascertained through mere sight. As such, she wants him to invest in getting to know the person she truly is. In the process, he may have to neglect other close-social contacts, indeed even the internet for relatively-long periods of time. However, the love she will bestow upon him will make such sacrifices justifiable.

Tyga is bit bolder in visualizing manifestations of his love. In other words, he doesn’t seem to have any inhibitions about a well-noticeable romance. In fact he’s ready to ice Ally out as a symbol of his loving care. And if she gives him the opportunity, he is going to devote all of his energy to keeping her satisfied.
