And the way he prefers to use off hours are in the name of getting it on with the addressee. The second verse then seems to use farm-related metaphors to point to the notion of Tyler being a good love maker.  And the third verse basically combines those two ideas, with Childers using farming-related terminology to illustrate his strong desire for the addressee.

“Let your love light shine
Don’t ya hide it ‘neath no bushel, baby
Take ‘at wick to task
And work me all night ‘neath the flame
I am yours to use
And I sure wish you would use me
Do not let my heart just fall apart
Rustin’ in the rain”

Tyler Childers wrote this song himself, and he produced it with his band, The Food Stamps.

This is title track to Tyler Childers’ seven-song album which was released through RCA and Hickman Holler on 8 September 2023.
