Lyrics of "Paris" by Sabrina Carpenter

A number of fans and analysts alike interpret the lyrics from the chorus as being about infidelity. According to them, the lines above are about her leaving her love in LA for Paris because she’s scared of love. In Paris, she meets a new love who is both very romantic and charming. However, at some point she begins to feel guilty about her actions and realizes that she has someone who truly loves her back in LA.

It’s noteworthy to mention that some fans have debunked the part of the interpretation that claims the singer was unfaithful. They say the chorus doesn’t give any hint that Carpenter entered into another relationship with someone in Paris.
