Rauw Alejandro, whose legal name is Raúl Alejandro Ocasio Ruiz, is one of the big names when it comes to Latin music. The gifted singer was born in the Puerto Rican city of San Juan, on January 10 of 1993.
His journey in the music industry began somewhere around the mid 2000s. He started by uploading songs on the streaming platform, SoundCloud. In 2017 he landed a record deal with US record company Sony Music Latin. Prior to this, the singer released his debut project, a mixtape named “Punto de Equilibrio”.
“Afrodisíaco” is the name of his maiden full-length studio album, which he released in 2020.
