“Smack That” by Akon (ft. Eminem)
The simplest way to describe Akon and Eminem’s “Smack That” is as it being set in a club. Thus the vocalists would be patrons of the establishment, and the female addressee(s) would be one of its dancers. This scenario is made most clear by Eminem, one of the best lyricists in the game, during his verse. And fundamentally, the concept that Akon is asserting is that he does in fact intend to have bedroom intimacy with the addressee. In other words, he would like to “smack that” [behind].
And he is confident he can achieve this goal not only due to the profession of the lady but also knowing that he has an unlimited amount of cash on hand to impress her. So basically, what we have here is a bedroom fun song set in a club being relayed by rich individuals.
