“Sunshine” by Liam Payne
On this song, the vocalist is likening the addressee to “sunshine”. And the reason Liam is doing so is because of the positive impact this person has had on his life.
More specifically, this is someone who is so unique that being associated with him or her has given Payne a new lease on life. So by following this addressee’s example so to speak, he too is able to express himself better, or something of the sort. Either way, the primary sentiment being put forth is a major appreciation for this individual, i.e. giving this person their lyrical flowers while s/he can smell them.
And the reason we’re referring to the addressee in a gender-neutral sort of way is the nature of this relationship or the role s/he serves in the vocalist’s life is never specified.

This is a song that officially came out on 27 August 2021. It was actually first teased by Liam Payne about a week prior.
“Sunshine” was actually issued as part of the soundtrack to the 20th Century Studios’ animated motion picture entitled Ron’s Gone Wrong. Interesting to note is that Liam Payne lends his voice acting talents to this film.
“Ron’s Gone Wrong”
Ron’s Gone Wrong is a film whose production is being spearheaded by 20th Century Animation, a studio whose biggest hit to date has been the early-2010s Ice Age series.
The titular character is being portrayed by American comedian Zach Galifianakis, who appears to have more voice-acting than traditional-acting experience.
And his two top-billed costars are fellow American actor Jack Dylan Grazer in the role of “Barney” and English actress Olivia Colman portraying “Donka”.
We currently don’t yet know which character Liam Payne will take on in the movie. However, it does seem pretty clear that it will be a minor one. But that said, by the looks of things his name may still likely serve as the most-recognizable of the entire cast.

Liam Payne has experienced some notable success since venturing out on his own in 2017. For instance, his debut single, Strip That Down featuring Quavo, is BPI double-platinum and RIAA triple-platinum certified hit.
But of course at this stage, what the English singer is still best known for is having been a member of One Direction, i.e. the most commercially-successful boy band of the early-2010s, when that group was actually extant.
