“You?” by Two Feet

Whereas Two Feet’s “You?” may appear simple, the lyrics are actually quite intricate. And the reality they seem to point to is the singer being in some type of contentious relationship. He appears callous about the whole situation. And the implication is that his partner is putting some type of psychological burden on him yet does not acknowledge that she is doing so. 

Owing to this, the title is based on the concept of him actually questioning who needs who in this relationship. In other words, on top of stating forthrightly that he doesn’t care about her personal issues, he is basically mocking her for being so emotionally dependent on him. And the underlying insinuation is that his attitude is somehow related to the two of them having beef. 

So we think maybe she has insulted him to the point where he no longer really cares.  Either way, the entire situation has him also questioning the potential longevity of what logically reads as a romance.

“You?” was released on 11 October 2019 as the second single from his maiden debut album, which is entitled “Pink”.
