“I Like Girls” by PnB Rock (Ft. Lil Skies)

As the title implies, this song is about the artists’ fondness for females. A bit more specifically, it is based on the types of women they enjoy having relations with – which is all types. PnB Rock’s verse is more along the lines of the adventures he enjoys with girls due to his wealth, with Lil Skies section being based on a similar theme yet dealing more explicitly, albeit briefly, with his sexual interactions.

The chorus belongs to the main artist, PnB Rock, who specifies that he likes lesbians and also girls who are of lighter skin. However, later on he mentions that he has “no type” and indeed is attracted to basically all nationalities.

The women who are the primary subjects of his verse appear to be strippers who have him entranced with their dance moves. Later on he takes one of them out to partake of his expensive lifestyle, which includes Ksubi jeans and high-priced cars. This of course leads to him insinuating that afterwards he was able to enjoy intimacy relations with her.

In contrast, Lil Skies jumps into an intimate affair almost from the jump, most notably stating that he enjoys receiving a particular type of act while smoking Backwoods cigars. Also like PnB, he alludes to his liking of lesbians and all types of women. Moreover, Skies insinuates that he is willing to spend big dough in order to make his woman happy.

Overall PnB Rock created this track under the impression that, as with himself, “everybody likes girls”.  Thus under this assumption, he believes that the general audience would be able to understand the disposition he is coming from and appreciate this song.
