“Jealous” by YG

Getting straight to the point, “Jealous” is a braggadocious track. And what it is primarily based on is YG taunting the dudes who are “jealous of him”. That is to say he throws in their faces the fact that he is “rich as f***”, “clean” and able to score the same “b***hes… for free” that they have to pay to sleep with. So fundamentally, the rapper is under the impression that his haters and rivals are so because they’re jealous.  But more to the point he doesn’t actually give AF, as he is making it his goal to make them even madder by boasting his enviable lifestyle.

“Jealous” is the opening track on YG’s project entitled “My Life 4Hunnid”. The album, along with the song, came out on 2 October 2020. And the label behind them is Def Jam Records.

YG wrote this in conjunction with the tracks producers, Tariq Beats and a pair known as Musik MajorX. Musik MajorX is made up T. M. Wells Jr. and Q. L. Cook.
