The song starts with the chorus detailing how some people wanted to frame him for a crime he did not commit. He also expresses gratitude for being able to afford lawyers who were able to help his case. In the end part of the chorus he portrays a pensive mood with thoughts of the late rapper, Nipsey Hussle, who was shot dead.

In the first verse he recounts how he gave his all to a gang and yet it was someone from the gang that betrayed him and sold him out for fame. He goes further to talk about how easy it would be for the judges to pronounce him as guilty because of his affiliation to the gang.

In the next verse he talks about how he has to take care of his parents, siblings, child’s mother and friends all at the same time. He ends the verse with how someone used him as bait in order to afford certain luxuries.
