“New Patek” is a hip hop song by American rapper/singer Lil Uzi Vert. The title of this song makes reference to the famous luxury Swiss watch brand Patek Philippe SA. The song’s lyrics see Uzi rapping about a number of things, most notably having a New Patek on his wrist.

  • This track was penned by Lil Uzi Vert with production being handled by hip-hop music producer/artist Dolan Beats. Besides working with Lil Uzi Vert, Dolan has also worked with the likes of Chief Keef and 21 Savage.
  • “New Patek” was officially dropped (as in released) on 18th September, 2018. The track is from Uzi’s 2018 album titled Eternal Atake.
  • A few months before the official release of the song in September, Uzi previewed it on the social media site Instagram. This was in June.
  • This track was originally titled “5 Min”. However, it was later changed to its present title thanks to fans of Uzi who preferred “New Patek” instead.

The original art work of Eternal Atake was deliberately designed to bear striking resemblance to the official logo of Heaven’s Gate. However, Uzi was later forced to make drastic changes to the cover art after some surviving members of the cult threatened legal action against him.
