Filipino-American actress, singer, and songwriter, Olivia Isabel Rodrigo has earned incredible success in the entertainment industry. Olivia Rodrigo, as many know her, started her acting career in 2015.

Her first role on set was in a television commercial for Old Navy clothing. However, shortly after she played the role in the television commercial in 2015; she officially made her debut in acting that same year, when she played the lead role in the film, An American Girl: Grace Stirs Up Success. She is well known for the amazing roles she played as a cast in Disney’s film and series, High School: The Musical: The Series and Bizaardvark.

She also wrote All I want, and co-wrote, Just for a Moment, which were soundtracks for High School: The Musical: The Series. She released her debut single titled, Drivers License, on January 8, 2021. The song became a hit on many online music platforms within the week of its release. It broke Spotify’s record for most daily streams when it garnered more than 17 million global streams on January 11, 2021.

The song debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and topped many music charts in the United Kingdom, Australia, Norway, Ireland, and many other European countries. Her second single, Déjà vu, debuted at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making her the first artist to debut with two songs in the top 10 of the chart. She starred in the Disney series, Bizaardvark, at age 12. The show included some other kid actors, and it is where she met her best friend and co-star Madison Hu. According to her, she had an identity crisis acting some roles and scenes she was given on set for the show. She believes that in doing so, the world will be free from all negativity and left with only positivity or what she calls “Good Vibes”.
