“Post Bail Ballin” by Lil Wayne

The storyline of this song is based on the artist “ballin”, i.e. spending money and chillin’, after coming out of jail. Lil Wayne did in fact go to jail back in 2010, and it could be taken that he is speaking to that juncture in his life. Or perhaps he is alluding to the idea that at the time this song was released he was in a contract dispute with his label boss, Birdman, which greatly restricted his professional aspirations. But either way, once you get pass the narrative premise, what the lyrics actually center on is the artist enjoying the rich life, complete with lots of intimate affairs.
