“Look at Me Now” by Chris Brown (ft. Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne)

For the sake of simplicity, it can be said that the primary addressee of “Look at Me Now” are the haters, i.e. dudes who are jealous of the vocalists.

You can view the lyrics, alternate interprations and sheet music for Chris Brown's Look at Me Now at Lyrics.org.

Taking a hip-hop approach to the matter, Chris Brown basically proceeds to taunt such individuals based on the grounds that he is wealthier and more sexually appealing. Meanwhile, Busta Rhymes’ verse is more along the lines of the rapper putting forth that he is not inclined to let the negativity of others deter him from striving for greatness. Lil Wayne’s passage more or less features the type of creative wordplay he’s known for, all also ultimately pointing to the idea of Tunechi being superior to his rivals.

So when Chris proclaims “look at me now”, that invitation is based on the fact that he and his cohorts are proven successes.
