Celine Dion didn’t write this track. It was written by the iconic Canadian songwriter and producer David Foster (who also handled its entire production). Foster penned the track along with American writer Arthur Janov.

Release Date

Columbia Records in partnership with 550 Music released this track in November 1993. It was part of Celine Dion’s 1993 award-winning studio album of the same name.

Did this classic win Celine a Grammy?

No. However, a number of songs from its album won were nominated for Grammy Awards. One such song was “When I Fall in Love” (which actually won a Grammy). The classic “The Power of Love” (also from the same album) was nominated for a Grammy. It received its nomination in the “Best Female Pop Vocal Performance” category. However, Celine Dion lost the award to Sheryl Crow’s “All I Wanna Do”.
