Growing up in a tough neighborhood where people were always high, sick or doing whatever they had to do survive. And this is how Travis Scott pushed himself into becoming a great music icon.
He came from a family of musicians. His father was into soul music and his grandfather was into Jazz. He got so interested in music that he dropped out of the university to fully focus on music.
Dropping out of of school offended his parents to the point where they stopped providing for him financially. He ended up on a friend’s couch as he pursued his music.
He started a band with Chris Holloway by name ‘The Graduates’. A year later, he started another band with Og Chess by name ‘The Classmates’.
He has released a lot of tracks that have gained him popularity all over the world. As at mid-2020, he had received almost forty nominations and won three awards.
He was known to be in a relationship with Kylie Jenner in 2017. They had a daughter in 2018 and broke up after.
