Anne-Marie
Anne-Marie is a singer from the UK. She has been involved in music since her youth. And interesting to note is that she also began training in karate even before becoming a teenager. She ultimately went on to receive a black belt in a discipline called Shotokan (in addition to winning martial arts’ competitions). Accordingly her debut EP is actually entitled “Karate” (2015).
She really blew up in 2016 after being featured on Clean Bandit’s track titled “Rockabye”. Said track, which featured Sean Paul, was a global success. It topped the UK Singles Chart and achieved multi-platinum status in a number of countries. She reached number one in the UK again as part of the supergroups Artists for Grenfell and Live Lounge Allstars, respectively in 2017 and 2020.
In 2018 her debut full-length, “Speak Your Mind”, came out. It also proved to be quite-successful. This album reached a peak position of number 3 on the UK Albums Chart. It also went platinum in both the United States and Canada.
In 2018, the songstress hinted that she may be bisexual but did not make any definitive statement in that regard. Also she has proven to be one of those conspiracy theorists, if you will, who believes that coronavirus pandemic was propagated by 5G technology.
