Kygo and Rita Ora’s “Carry On” is centered on a strong relationship and is based on the theme of the movie whose soundtrack it is a part of. And what’s this movie in question? It is the 2019 Rob Letterman directed fantasy mystery film Pokémon Detective Pikachu.
In “Carry On”, the singer (Rita Ora) is one of the people in this union, and she is singing to the other participant. And what she is basically conveying is that the love she received from this person has inspired her to “carry on”, as in pressing forward even in the face of adversity.
