“Lovebug” by Jonas Brothers

Jonas Brothers’ “Lovebug” sees the narrator fantasizing about his new found romance despite losing the hope to love again. The reason for the lost hope is probably due to a bad breakup, but throughout the song, the singer admires his potential lover, while he remains shocked at how he is feeling. Apparently the past relationship may have left him so damaged that he thought he may not fall in love again. He uses the expression “lovebug” to describe his falling in love with this new girl.
