Maybe they would like to house and pay for all the illegals! We welcome LEGAL immigrants! Know the difference! So pathetic and shows even more ignorance on this subject! I wish true Americans cared this much about our veterans!

    • Immigrants over veterans says:

Most people are already jerks, just because you give a jerk a gun doesn’t mean he is a hero

We are pretty much all descended from illegal immigrants. Just ask the Native Americans. You can find them on the barren tracts of land that we “gave” them. But I suppose that doesn’t apply to you, does it, Mr/Mrs Anonymous?

Hope you know too we’re only country that welcomes illegals. Anywhere else arrests you. Just saying. Mexico puts you in jail for 2 years. Enter illegally again it’s 10

it can be viewed from as many angles as there are people. and why not view it to stand against a Mr. Trump? the beauty of America is founded on our right to voice our opinions religious or political.

I think we should all just accept that opinions are like butts, and everyone has one.
    And they’re usually pretty stinky.

All I ask is that we separate church from state- I think I hear that in this song. No immigrants should be illegal ( unless criminal) We need a better , faster way to bring them in and make them citizens.

I find it funny when I see people arguing in the comments of this song. It goes against the actual meaning of the song.

The song is clearly about how we need to unite instead of fighting each other because there is a “thin line” between “lies and the whole truth”. It is a commentary on how both political sides are devils that control us by lying and making us fight each other as a distraction.

They are making fun of both political sides “the far right, the left view. Breaking all those promises made”. Essentially saying both sides break their promises.

“Do you believe that you can walk on water. Do you believe that you can win this fight tonight” underlines that it is hopeless to fight. You can’t possibly believe you can walk on water, just like you can’t walk on water you also cannot win the fight because there is no real fight to take to begin with. It is all fabricated.

“Can you even see what you are fighting for. Bloodlust and a holy war.” Is also a commentary on how both political sides fight for stupid reasons. They are just out to fight, not to achieve anything.

But the song also has an underlying tone of being able to stand together to fight together and get past these squabbles that lead nowhere “times are changing”.

They are not taking a political stance, they are making fun of both sides that each believe their own lies and instead of being productive or being critical to those in power, focus all their energy fighting each other because they are put for bloodlust or think their cause is the will of a god.
