Alessia Cara is a singing artist from Canada. Based on her looks, many people may mistake her for a Latina. But in actuality her full last name is Caracciolo, and her family comes from Italy.
Alessia dropped her first album, “Know-It-All”, in 2015. Said project earned platinum certification in both Canada and in the United States, and within a short time the songstress established herself as one of the premiere singers in the game. For instance, in 2018 she made history by becoming the first Canadian to win Best New Artist at the US-based Grammy Awards.
