“Don’t Check on Me” by Chris Brown (ft. Ink & Justin Bieber)

This is a track in which Chris Brown and Justin Bieber are basically addressing ex-girlfriends, with Ink for the most part serving as a support singer. And the primary sentiment being expressed, as the title insinuates, is one in which they are telling these ladies to leave them alone.

The premise behind this song is that their past romances with these individuals have dissolved. But while the artists have since made peace with having their ‘hearts broken’ and moved on with their lives, the ladies they are addressing have not been able to do so. So apparently these women have attempted – in some way, shape or form – to reestablish contact with the homeys.

But Breezy and JB aren’t having it and instead are instructing these individuals ‘not to check on them’. And the reason the homeys are behaving so is that the fashion in which these particular relationships ended apparently left a sour taste in their mouths. Also they do not seem overly-impressed with the way these women are going about trying to get their attention in the here and now.

So in summation, here we have a track in which the artists are snubbing particular ex-girlfriends. Despite the fact that these ladies have not been able to put these relationships behind them, the artists have. Furthermore, they are advising these women not to even make an attempt to contact them or get their attention as they are not interested in the former, and in attempting the latter they are only making the situation worse.
