“Available” by Justin Bieber

On this track, Justin Bieber is letting the addressee, his romantic interest, know that he is “available”. Or getting straight to the point, he is “desperate” for her to come over and spend some time with him. And the implication is that they may have some type of beef. Or as Justin notes in the second verse, as of late it appears as if she is “busy” more frequently than usual. However, she is assuring him that these insecurities have no type of factual basis. So it can be said that one of the reasons he’s entreating her to come around is to make sure everything between the two of them is all good. 

But generally speaking he seems to suffer, from a romantic vantage point, when she’s not around. Or as the Biebs metaphorically states, he has a strong sensual dependency on her. 

So conclusively, “Available” definitely features a subplot in which the singer is disturbed by what he perceives as his significant other’s extended absence.  But more the anything, the main idea he is putting forth is that he wants to spend some intimate time with her.

Facts about “Available”

Interesting to point out is that JaVale McGee, who is famed for his career in the Los Angeles Lakers of the NBA, is one of the writers and producers of “Available”.

The other artists who have served as both co-writers and co-producers of this tune are Harv and Poo Bear. And the additional co-writers are Ashley Boyd, Josh Gudwin, Noah Sammak and Bieber.

“Available” is part of Justin Bieber’s album “Changes”, with both being released by Def Jam Records on 14 February 2020. Mind you, “Available” wasn’t issued as a single. The songs “Yummy” and “Intentions” were two of three official singles from “Changes”.
