In the first verse, Jonah Marais talks about he being so sure of how he feels about the love interest and not worrying about any other thing in the world; this can be seen in the second line where he describes everything else as frozen. He also goes on to explain that the only thing he does not have an answer to is the future of the relationship.

In the pre-chorus and chorus he talks about how his emotions is making him oblivious of any impending danger. The repetition of the word “fallin’” in the break is a way of emphasizing how deep he feels for the love interest.

Daniel Seavey in an interview with Atlantic Records Press Release explained that he had a lady in mind when he wrote the song. He went on to say as an artist it is difficult to make a commitment to another person when you are always on the go.
