• On October 26, 2018, this track was formally released by Capitol Records along with three other labels, including Motown Records. It is the first single off Takeoff’s debut solo album The Last Rocket. Rapper Quavo was the first member of Migos to release a solo album. Takeoff would become the second member of the group to release a solo album when this album drops in November 2, 2018.
• American producer and rapper MonstaBeatz took charge of the song’s entire production. This is the first time Takeoff and MonstaBeatz are working together.
• In the song’s intro, Takeoff says a single word “MonstaBeatz”. It is a shoutout to the song’s producer. In addition to that, it is a clever technique of promoting the producer. Many rappers use this technique these days in promoting the producers they work with.
• Contrary to what many believe, this isn’t the first single of Takeoff’s solo career. In 2017, he dropped the single “Intruder”. “Intruder” was his first single as a solo artist.
