“Love in My Pocket” by Rich Brian

Casting all metaphors aside, it has been deduced that what Rich Brian is referring to by ‘love in his pocket’ is in fact a boner.  Thus the main metaphor really at play here is one for his desire to be intimate with the addressee. Or perhaps more accurately we can say that he has formed a strong dependency on her body. This is someone whom he is very attracted to but does not read as if it is his actual girlfriend. And to make a long story short, by the time the tracks ends, the lyrics read as if he has achieved his goal.

“Love in My Pocket” features production from Bēkon and Rappy. And they also served as co-writers alongside a bunch other songwriters, including Rich Brian.

This track came out via 88rising and 12Tone Music on 10 July 2020. And it is expected to be featured on Brian’s third studio album.

This is actually Brian’s second single of 2020. His first was a song called “Bali” (which featured rapper Guapdad 4000).
