“Satisfy” by Russ

It doesn’t take rocket science to presume what a pop song possessing such a title (“Satisfy”) is actually about. And if, dear reader, your presumption is sex, then congratulations, you are in fact correct.

You can view the lyrics, alternate interprations and sheet music for Russ's Satisfy at Lyrics.org.

Here we have Russ addressing who we would imagine is his significant other, considering how much bumpin’ and grindin’ they’re engaged in. And yes folks, most of the lyrics contained therein are in fact illustrations of sexual intercourse between the two of them.

However, the vocalist does reveal a bit of this relationship’s other dynamics by implying that this association is one in which he and his partner are keeping it on the downlow. Also when the two of them do decide to engage in “an all-nighter” – apparently the scenario in which this song is set – then they also seem to enjoy puffing on some joints together.

But that’s just about it as far as non-sexualized lyrics go. Indeed Russ may not necessarily look the part, but apparently when it’s time to get busy with his sweetheart, he’s akin to a beast in bed.

Russ

According to many authentic sources, Russ has been professionally active since 2007. But it wasn’t until the 2010’s that he really began gaining notoriety. He dropped his first single, Goodbye, in 2014.  And later in the decade, between 2017 and 2020, the artist came out with his first three studio albums via Columbia Records.

And Russ may not be a household name as far as hip-hop musicians go. But he did score two major hits in 2015, What They Want and Losin Control, the latter of which went quintuple-platinum in his homeland of the United States.

Russ has already released quite a few singles during 2021, none of which, as with “Satisfy”, are affiliated with any albums.  And throughout the year he has been most successful in New Zealand.

So this track, which came out on 25 June 2021, actually marks the 10th song that Russ has headlined this year. On top of that he was also featured on a track entitled Fck Boys by L.A. rapper Blxst. And Russ himself is affiliated with the ATL.
