AURORA
Aurora is a Norwegian singer who has proven to be especially popular in her part of the world.
Unlike most female singers who have been professionals since their teens, Aurora’s story isn’t of a girl who always wanted to be a singer. Yes, she already had the extraordinary talent even before being discovered. But she became known to professionals via performances of hers which were put online by others, not herself. And then even after she did catch the attention of people in the biz, she still was not privy on the idea of becoming a professional musician. This was around the time she was 16-years old. But basically, her mom convinced her to give it a shot.
And Aurora heeding her advice proved to be a sound financial decision. For instance her first album, “All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend” (2016), went to number one in Norway and reached number 2 on Billboard’s US Heatseekers Album Chart. Between 2015 and 2017 she also won a few European music awards. She dropped another album in 2019 entitled “A Different Kind of Human (Step 2)”. And even though it didn’t hit like the first, Aurora had established herself as an internationally-recognized artist.
Some of her notable hits include “Exist for Love” and “The Seed“.
I’ve always struggled with anxiety and especially recently I have mentally been worse. Aurora’s music has helped me feel a balance and with everything around me whenever I listen to it. Her voice is a siren but isn’t bringing people to their death but rather guiding them to heaven. It feels like my head is in a gorgeous forest and on an empty beach in the north. It’s a beautiful preference.
