“Babydoll” by Dominic Fike

The titular “Babydoll” would of course be a reference to the singer’s romantic interest.  And the way the setting of this song reads is that in the present moment, perhaps she is snubbing him. On top of that, his own strivations are apparently leading him away from her. But he does not want to lose her. So basically, he is imploring her to come with him.  Indeed even though he apparently hasn’t been with her for some time, she still remains on his mind constantly. 

So basically, “Babydoll” can be classified is a love song. But the way Dominic Fike’s affection for the addressee is relayed is by him stating how much he misses her.

This is the third track from Fike’s maiden EP. And said debut project is entitled “Don’t Forget About Me, Demos”.

Dominic and his label didn’t release this as a single. Actually the only single they brought out from the EP is the worldwide hit titled “3 Nights“.
