“Back to the Streets” by Saweetie (ft. Jhené Aiko)

“Back to the Streets” fundamentally features the two vocalists presenting themselves as female playas. In other words, due to their flyness they’re able to seduce and discard men like if it ain’t nothing. And that’s the concept which the title of the song alludes to. That is to say that when they get through with romantic interests, as in lose interest in them, the homegirls send them “back to the street” where they came from. So such boasting serves as the ladies’ way of letting the world know that no man can play them. Also they are making guys that they better come correct and be prepared to deal with some dominant female.
