This track basically takes the form of a love proposal. Bieber tells a potential girlfriend all he could offer if she accepts him as her boyfriend.
In as much as he’s in love and wishes to date her so badly, he can’t go ahead without seeking her permission. While trying to win her over, Justin draws attention to things that he believes will interest her such as; a guy who would never leave her, a guy who has a lot of money to spend on her, and a guy who has enough swag. This is exactly how the singer presents himself.
Bieber promises this girl an irresistible dream lifestyle where they will travel and always have fun. His repetition of “not letting her go”, suggests that the girl he wants may have been in a bad relationship earlier. As such, he wants to be her knight in shining armor so he can treat her better than anyone else.

• This was the first single to be released from Justin Bieber’s 2012 album, Believe.
• The song’s writers Mike Posner and Blackbear have said that the lyrics were originally “sex inclined”. However, they were forced to tone them down because Justin was only 16 at the time of recording.
