Habitual – Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber’s “Habitual” is a true love song. But it is operates along the veins of a particular metaphor in which the singer describes his feelings for the addressee, his romantic interest, as being “habitual”. And the way Justin defines this word within the context of the track is as his affection for this lady being “not for a moment but forever”. So for all intents and purposes, in the case of this tune, the word habitual is akin to eternal. And more specifically concerning the featured relationship, based on the second verse, it would seem that the Biebs was initially friends with this particular lady before their association blossomed into a romance.

Indeed all things considered, it is obvious that the singer feels blessed via falling in love with the addressee – and vice versa. So despite the unique way in which the sentiments being expressed are presented, at the end of the day, when you strip away all of the excitable words this is simply a celebration of the love the narrator has found himself in.
