“Gucci Land” by Gucci Mane (ft. Young Thug)
Gucci Mane’s “Gucci Land” is primarily centered on he and Young Thug’s wealth and interactions with women. And the title of the track also serves primarily as an allusion to their riches, in addition to giving a shoutout to the main artist (Gucci). For Gucci Mane derived the first half of his moniker from a pricey and popular clothing brand called Gucci. And overall, the way he and his lyrical partner come off is as if their lives consist primarily of spending big money, being intimate with women and chillin’.
And of course they wrote this rap themselves. However, they accepted additional input in that regard from the track’s producers, Pluss and Mike Will Made-It.
“Gucci Land” was released by Atlantic Records on the date of 3 July 2020. And the song is one of the track’s featured on Gucci’s mixtape “Gucci Mane Presents: So Icy Summer”.
Gucci Mane and Young Thug are regular collaborators and have released a number of tracks together prior to this one. Actually this is one of three tracks on the aforementioned mixtape featuring Thug. The other two are: “Rain Shower” and “Freakiest in the World“.
