“Little While” by Sada Baby (ft. Big Sean & Hit-Boy)
Perhaps it can be said that this piece (“Little While”) is romantic in nature, as far as hypersexualized rappers tend to define romance. That is to say that what it is more so about is sex, and the featured narratives contain explicit language in the name of getting the story across.
And basically, what the two vocalists are chanting about is a lady they knew from back in the days who was once “freaky” but now, in that regard, has calmed down a bit. But of course, that’s not going to prevent them from teaching her to “suck d**k” and all.
And at the end of the day the main vocalist, Big Sean, does in fact achieve the primary goal of turning this somewhat-conservative lady – an “old b*t*h” as he describes her – into someone who is more willing to fulfill his sexual fantasies. Indeed all he and his cohorts really require to bring about such is a “little while” to work their magic on her.
Big Sean
Out of the three artists who headline this track, Big Sean is perhaps the name you’re most familiar with. He’s an artist affiliated with Kanye West’s label, GOOD Music, and overall Sean has been one of the most-successful rappers of the 2010s. And on the reality tip, he’s also known for having an on-again/off-again romance with another popular vocalist, R&B singer Jhené Aiko.
Hit-Boy
Then second on the list notoriety wise would be Hit-Boy. Although he does occasionally get busy on the mic, Hit is actually known more for his production skills and in that regard has quite a few mega hits under his belt. In fact he doesn’t actually contribute any vocals to Little While but is rather the track’s producer. Yet as displayed, he’s one of those producers whose actually popular enough to be billed, unlike most others, as a featured artist.
Sada Baby
Meanwhile Sada Baby, who hails from Detroit, is a hip-hopper whom we are covering for the first time today. He’s actually been professionally active since 2013 and made a name for himself via the viral video of his 2018 track Bloxk Party. He also dropped a song in 2020, Whole Lotta Choppas, which, as influenced by a remix featuring Nicki Minaj, serves as his only tune thus far to appear on the Billboard Hot 100.
Little While
Meanwhile “Little While” itself came out on 17 May 2021. This is Sada Baby’s first collaboration with Hit-Boy. However, he did participate with Big Sean, who is also associated with the Detroit rap scene, on a 2020 track called Friday Night Cypher which, as it name implies, features a whole bunch of rappers. And apparently Little While is to serve as part of the playlist of a forthcoming Sada Baby multi-track project.

“Little While” was put out by Asylum Records, the label Sada Baby signed to in 2018 in the wake of the success of the aforementioned Bloxk Party.
