“Myron” by Lil Uzi Vert

“Myron” is a track in which Lil Uzi Vert harps primarily on the subjects of women and money. In terms of the former topic, he once again depicts himself as an individual who has more or less thrown his sensual inhibitions aside. So combine that with the fact that he’s famous, and he’s the type of guy who regularly has females throwing themselves at him. 

Also he states that he will not only sleep with a person’s girlfriend but also an individual’s “mom and auntie”, in fact preferring the elders if they look better than the younger. Then in terms of his riches, he gives various allusions to such throughout. For instance, he seemingly describes “ninety thousand” dollars as being “a light band”, i.e. an insignificant amount of money in his eyes. 

Moreover he relays a metaphor where if he were to actually stand on top of the bills in his possession, he would reach almost 10 feet in height. And to a lesser degree he also mentions the “banana clip”, “glock” and other statements which serve as references to gunplay. 

All in all, this is your normal Uzi Vert track where the rapper comes off as a street-based individual who has plenty of access to women and money. Meanwhile the title of the song apparently serves as a shoutout to Lil Uzi Vert’s loyal fanbase.

Writing and Production Uzi Vert is creditted as the sole writer of “Myron”. Hip hop music producer Oogie Mane teamed up with fellow producer Supah Mario to produce “Myron”.

Album and Release Date

“Myron” appears on the deluxe version of Uzi’s “Eternal Atake” album. The 13th of March was the song’s official release date.

Did “Myron” chart?

This isn’t really considered one of the rapper’s biggest songs. However, it still made waves in the US and the UK. On America’s Hot 100, it reached number 13. On the UK Singles Chart, it made it to a peak position of 58.
