“Terrible Things” by Halestorm

“Terrible Things” is one of those songs which, premise-wise in this case, speaks to the concept of the human race being a troubled one. More specifically, what the vocalist is harping on is our violent tendencies. Such are the “terrible things” that Lzzy is most pointedly speaking to which, as implied in the bridge, she sometimes engages in herself.

But as for the thesis sentiment of this piece, what the vocalist is stating is that despite the horrors which may define the physical world, ideologically she ‘believes’ that we aren’t as bad as we sometimes behave. So conclusively, it’s as if the lyrics express a hope in mankind.

And still no credit to Tommy Vext who actually co-wrote it with her but they keep leaving that out and not giving him credit 👍

Because he didn’t co write it lmao. Someone wrote, offered it to badwolves, they didn’t use it. Now he’s mad someone else got to. He admitted it himself that HE himself didn’t write it. Stop being some white knight.

That isn’t what he is saying on his facebook. Can you provide where he says he didn’t write it? I legit want to know because I LOVE Halestorm and I love Tommy, I want to get all sides of this.

They literally stole it. He has posted screenshots of convos with the other writers and I remember him playing it in an ig live before they released theirs. I would say they lost a fan but they sucked from the getgo. F*** them!
