“Tomorrow Me” by Luke Combs
By the looks of things, the addressee in this case (“Tomorrow Me”) is the vocalist’s ex. And it is one of those types of situations where they still have feelings for each other.
However, the chorus implies that they both also know that having gone their separate ways was for the best. So Luke especially recognizes that if he gives in to the urge to hook up with the addressee tonight, “tomorrow” he will inevitably regret having made that decision. And the bridge reveals that he is knowledgeable of this fact because it has already happened numerous times in the past, i.e. him and the addressee doing the do post-breakup, only for him to feel like he’s made a mistake afterwards.
So conclusively, the lyrics do not state if the vocalist successfully resisted the temptation to do so yet again. But it is insinuated that now, he has finally resolved himself not to do anything physical with his ex, as he knows doing so will haunt him almost immediately thereafter.

Wonderful song. Great lyrics and melody. I love it.❤❤❤❤
Absolutely love this song because I actually lived it over and over with a love that I felt was the love of my life. The only way it ever ended was when he lost his life to a heart attack. ❤️
I’m sorry for your loss
