“Find U Again” by Mark Ronson (ft. Camila Cabello)
This track finds Camila Cabello lamenting over a lost love. She has since moved on to “somebody new”. However, she has come to realize that her ex holds a special place in her heart which no one else can occupy.
So she entertains the idea of the two of them getting back together, even stating she would be willing to do so if he asked her too. She also acknowledges that it was her fault the relationship got messed up.
However, at the end of the day, the final conclusion she comes to is that their romance is forever a thing of the past. Or as the title puts, she will never be able to “find (him) again”. And this does not allude to him being lost or unattainable as much as it does the fact that, once again, she knows she will never find anyone to take his place.

Mark Ronson and Camila Cabello co-wrote this track alongside Ilsey Juber and Kevin Parker, the latter of Tame Impala. Ronson and Kevin Parker also teamed up to produce the song.
It was actually Kevin Parker who sang the melody of this track to his buddy Mark Ronson “several years” ago. The tune stayed with him since then, looking for the right outlet, which Ronson deduced was Late Night Feelings, the album of his it is featured on. However, he states that, somewhat miraculously, the song really came together once Camila Cabello made her contributions.
Indeed Cabello’s contributions to this song are not to be minimized. For instance, she apparently came up with the title in addition to contributing lyrics she wrote 6 years ago, when she was 16 years old.
Mark Ronson teased the release of “Find U Again” at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards (10 February 2019). Later he and Cabello announced the official release date, via Instagram, on 28 May 2019.
“Find U Again” was officially released on 30 May 2019. It made its debut on Beats 1 radio via Zane Lowe’s “World Record”
