On “Hate the Other Side”, “the other side” apparently refers to the rappers’ opps. So fundamentally, what they are saying throughout is that based on the culture they were brought up in, they have learned to “hate” their enemies. More specifically, they are privy to deal with such individuals via the utilization of gun violence. But this being Juice WRLD, of course an introspective approach is taken to the entire scenario. And in that regard, he and the others conclude that this disposition, as alluded to earlier, is the direct result of being brought up in an environment where such happenings are commonplace.

Facts about “Hate the Other Side”

“Hate the Other Side” can be found on Juice’s posthumous album “Legends Never Die”.  Interscope Records and Grade A Productions released it as part of said project on 10 July 2020.

This song was written by the four headline artists – Marshmello, WRLD, The Kid Laroi and Polo G – along with David Moody and KSHMR. And Marshmello is also the producer of the track.

Juice has a prior collaboration history with all three of the other artists. Meanwhile “Hate the Other Side” is the first time that Marshmello has collaborated with either The Kid Laroi or Polo G.

“Hate the Other Side” reportedly dealt with a number of leaks before being officially released. Additionally it was teased by Polo G as far back as January 2020.
