The lyrics of Juice WRLD’s “Hide” centers around a newfound love and the overwhelmingly-positive effect this female has had on the life of her lover. This song also features rapper Seezyn.

INTRO & CHORUS

Juice WRLD opens the track by giving a few details about his shorty. His feelings for her are so powerful that he is willing to forsake his bad habits just to be with her. What all of the sentiments expressed basically boil down to is that he is madly in love with her, and apparently she feels the same.

VERSE 1

During the first verse Juice gets a bit more descriptive about this female. She is unconventional yet a perfect match for him. She also helps him deal with his external as well as deeply-rooted personal issues. WRLD acknowledges that she is truly valuable and as such, if she approves, he will dedicate his time to making her happy.

The first verse is also the only time the word “hide” is actually mentioned in the song. Juice uses it as if to say he wants to be totally free and honest with this female.

VERSE 2

Seezyn now interjects and raps within the same theme set by WRLD. He has found a love that he intends to keep. He seems to be even more appreciative than Juice, as he expresses how this partner has helped him in his“darkest times” and “brought meaning to” his life. Also like Juice, her love has guided him on a more positive path.

The soundtrack album in question is titled Spider-Man: Original Motion Picture Score. On that same album appears the hit song “Sunflower” by Post Malone and Swae Lee.
• “Hide” was the first time WRLD and Seezyn collaborated together.
