“Horen Sarrison” by Beabadoobee

The lyrics of “Horen Sarrison” are dedicated to Beabadoobee’s boyfriend, a dude by the name of Soren Harrison actually. So in the title, she is jesting with his name. But more specifically, it is a love song.  And its true uniqueness is found in the metaphors Beabadoobee is using to get that sentiment across, even though she does exclaim flat-out in the chorus that she is “in love”. And fundamentally, what she is saying is that Soren is somewhat her savior in life, so to speak.

Additionally, despite her feelings for him, she doesn’t want Harrison to “feel comfortable”, perhaps so that he doesn’t become too lax in their relationship. Moreover, she acknowledges that she is not afforded as much time to spend with him as she would like. But she also understands that if the situation were reversed, he would do the same.

So conclusively, we can state that the singer is very appreciative of her real-life boyfriend.
